Tasmanian born Amy Louise Cure is based in Ulverstone and currently a Tasmanian Institute of Sport cyclist who will be representing Australia in the World Junior Track cycling competition in Italy during August 2010, she will be aiming to better her results from the previous year in Moscow where she gained a gold medal in the scratch race and a silver in the individual pursuit.

Amy's involvement in cycling started when she and sister Sarah were taken by their father to the New Years Eve criterium in Burnie. Amy was so excited by this event that the family attended the Burnie New year’s day sports carnival the following day.
