Silver medal in U19 Womens Individual Pursuit
Gold: Michaela Anderson (Aust)
Silver: Amy Cure (Aust)
Bronze: Hannah Solovey (Ukr)
It was great to ride off for the gold and silver medals with fellow Australian Michaela Anderson in the final. We both qualified and after celebrating we then had to get focused again. Michaela and I have shared our winnings over the years and I don't mind sharing with her although I would not be human if I did not say I wished it was my day.
It's a great honour to have a world championship medal. I have worked very hard for this and its really great when all that hard work pays off.
My focus now for the rest of the championship is the scratch race on Thursday night. |
